I also think it would be nicer to have a FINDS TABLE at the top of the Finds forum.

I sometimes find a coin and a bullet and a fork (ok it was  a spoon and Wife found it.).

Seriously I thank it would be easier to check in and see what everyone found without having to go through all the different head topics.

In my mind I am thinking of finds table like in the Detectorist

If you want to skip everything but the newest posts just hit one of the top two links on any page...
View New Posts or View Todays Posts.
All new finds posted will show up there.
You can avoid everything but the newest posts or older threads with new replies that way.
Easy peasy.

Most forums have a new posts button like this.

"Reality continues to ruin my life."

That would be a separate add-on to the forum software which I am not keen on as many of them are made by 3rd parties who do not keep up with the newer updates and it can eventually break code if they don't.

The way it is now is pretty much the way it will stay.  Sorry.

Not  sure you understand,   Just a  Forum topic like coins, relics, etc etc,
A general finds table.  Finds mosh pit.

So just one section that is all inclusive you mean? Would that defeat the purpose of having sections then? I very well might not understand...it has been known to happen daily! lol

Or are you saying that because we often find multiple objects that we should have a section that encompasses the whole hunt?  Like a "what I found today" section"?

I could probably add something like that no problem....

Yes  that is what I am talking about.   If someone wanted to post a  pick of there weekend finds  they could lay them out on a table and one Photo for everything.

Yeah I can probably do that if anybody else is wanting it.

What say the people?

Not a bad idea, I usually post "today's finds" in the general metal detecting topic, and if there is something special or cool in the pile, I post it in the proper finds category.    HH

I think it's a great idea! Personally, I am ok with or without it.
